Where Moffat County Stays young! We believe that adults age 55 and above deserve an opportunity to achieve their greatest physical, social and emotional health potential. The Senior Social Center teams up with active adults in our community every day to help them reach this potential!

“To establish a permanent accessible gathering place to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens through socialization, exercise, creativity, and education.”

The Senior Social Center of Craig was launched in 2014 when a group of Moffat County delegates for the Area Agency on aging, business owners and members of the community determined that Moffat county needed a permanent accessible gathering place for active adults. These committed community members believed that providing a permanent gathering place for active adults to engage in exercise programs, social activities, events and education is an essential part of building a strong community for future growth.

We have been privileged to partner with the Colorado Northwestern Community College, the City of Craig Parks & Recreation department, Northwest Colorado Health, the Boys & Girls Club of Craig and Memorial Regional Health who assist us in implementing and support our programs. The center also receives funding through grants, membership dues, and private donations.
