Volunteer at the Senior Social Center

What is a volunteer? That hard working sprite baking cookies for the bazaar, or that big time CEO coaching the hockey team, or the smiling face greet hunters at the Bears Ears Sportmans gun range.  A great example is Delaine Voloshin (left), a member of the board of the Museum of NW Colorado for over 35 years,  Luttrell Barn board, and also the chair of the SSC Advisory Committee.

In Craig alone, volunteers make up CASA, the summer swim program, bell ringers, 4-H leaders, civic organizations like Rotary and Kiwanis, fair attendants, VFW and American Legion vets, the salvation and renovation of the Luttrell Barn, the Food Bank and more and more. There is so much to do and so many ways to make a difference.

What volunteers all have in common is a commitment to provide their talents and knowledge to make the best for all. Everyone has something to offer. Senior Social Center volunteers have a lifetime of wisdom, decades of knowledge and that commitment of time and hard work. The board and committees are all volunteers at the SSC and always accepting help no matter your age. Every little bit helps move our community to a better place for all of us.

What can you offer?
